How do we proceed?
Domain name registration
If you don't have a domain name yet (a domain name starts
with the familiar "www."), we can register it
for you. The domain name is your choice (although we can
help with giving some free suggestions), you just have
to make sure it is still available for registration. We
can offer this service for several extensions: .com, .net,
.org, .biz, .info, .tv, .cc, .co.uk, .be, .nl, etc...
It
is important to mention here that you remain the owner
of your domain name.
Hosting service
Once your site is finished and ready to be published,
you will need a computer (webserver) where all your files
are stored and that displays your information upon a request
(when someone types in your webaddress, also called URL,
in his browser). We offer you our webhosting
service here: we upload your files (webpages, images, PDF-sheets,
etc...) to this webserver that displays them for
everybody around the globe.
You can have
your own FTP-account (File Transfer Protocol), so you
can make changes to the site yourself, 24h/24h.
